Double Problem: Magu’s House Searched By Security Agents, Here Is The Reason

The home of the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu in Karu, was searched by some policemen attached to the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.

According to gathered information, the policemen who carried out the search, were said to be the same ones who arrested the acting Chairman of the EFCC. The policemen made away with some documents, as the Karu’s apartment was where he stayed before his appointment.

Meanwhile, Magu was detained for the second day as he has been answering questions from the police, as investigations is ongoing.

“As the panel makes it findings and establishes certain allegations, the police will continue to open investigations. We were told that he had bought some properties, so one of the reasons we searched the Karu home was that we wanted to lay our hands on some of these documents.” A top source told newsmen.

Nigeria is the only country where funny episodes as this unravel. Subjecting the EFCC boss to such a level of mockery in the name of power play is the hight of stupidity. Those behind his ordeal are those people he detained for looting, now they are looking for every means to fight back.
