Latest: Nigeria record 499 new cases of COVID-19

Nigeria record 499 new cases of the novel COVID-19 which took the total infection case to 30748, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Thursday.

Nigeria recorded 460 cases yesterday, but it increases to 499 today. The death rate also rises to 689 from 684.

According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the highest number with 157 as it increased from yesterday’s 150 cases. Edo followed with 59 as Ondo recorded 56 new cases.
