Law Student Arrested For Allegedly Duping A Client N300,000 In Ogun State

If you’re fit enough to do the crime, you should be ready to do the time, as one self-acclaimed lawyer, Elijah Ojo, have been arrested for allegedly duping a client into parting with N300,000 in Ogun State.

According to gathered information, it was learnt that Ojo collected the above mentioned from the client to perfect her bail condition, but bolted after receiving the money.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, made it known to newsmen in his statement, as Ojo was arrested on Sunday for his crime. “The case was reported by a legal practitioner, who claimed Ojo never graduated and didn’t go to Law School, but has been extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public, when he’s even a Lawyer”.

After proper investigation, Ojo was arrested and he said, “I gained admission to study Law at the Ekiti State University but didn’t finish the course neither did I attend Law School”.

According to PPRO, the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation an Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
