English Top flight club, Manchester City have agreed to sign Bournemouth Defender Nathan Ake for €43Million.
Formalities over the move to City are expected to be wrapped up over the coming days with Bournemouth open to getting the Dutchman off their wage bill because his contract does not include a wage reduction clause after relegation.
Manchester United were believed to be keen on signing Ake, who suffered relegation with the Cherries this season.
But their city rivals have moved quickly to wrap up a deal, after the summer transfer window opened this Monday.
Ake is now set to link up with Manchester City once he returns to the UK and passes a medical.
