NBA Houston Rockets star, Russell Westbrook, on Monday announced that he tested positive for Covid-19.
Westbrook also revealed in a statement that he was feeling well and was in isolation.
“I tested positive for COVID-19 prior to my team’s departure to Orlando, I’m currently feeling well, quarantined and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared. Thank you all for the well wishes and continued support, Please take this virus seriously. Be safe. Mask up!” Westbrook added.
Westbrook was one of several Rockets players who did not travel to Orlando, where the NBA will resume its season on July 30 after a four-month shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
