Pastor Arrested For Allegedly Molesting A 10-year-old Girl In Ogun State

The people of Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, were in a state of shock as a 59-year-old Pastor Okedokun Abiodun of the Light Christian Church has been arrested for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl.

It was reported that, the father of the girl, whose name is withheld for personal reasons, reported the case to the Odeda Police station. According to the spokesperson of the state police, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the pastor, was arrested following the report they got from the father of the victim.

“The suspect saw the 10-year-old girl playing with other of her friends and he called her to go and bring his key for him in his room, while the innocent girl was going into the room, the pastor allegedly followed her behind, and forcefully had carnal Knowledge of her.” Abimbola said.

It was gathered that, the pastor owned up to the crime after several interrogations from the police while the 10-year-old girl was taken to the hospital.

“The State Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered the case to be transferred into the anti-human trafficking and child labor unit of the state.” Abimbola added.

It’s a shame that those we look up to, keep disappointing us in the most absurd manner. A girl that is old enough to be your granddaughter. God have mercy.
