Police Arrest Man In Lagos State After Female Friend Dies of Stomach Ache In His House

Amosu Funso found himself in a very controversial situation after he reported the death of his girlfriend Precious Udochi, to the police and was arrested.

According to reports, Amosu, went to the Ogombo Police Division to report the untimely dismissal of his girlfriend who had complained of stomach ache prior to her death to the police and he was detained. It was learnt by the police, that both Amosu and Precious lived together in Abraham Adesanya Estate, in Ogombo area before the ugly incident occurred.

In the police report, according to the Punch, Precious corpse was found in the apartment and no mar of violence or inflict injuries was found in her body, as photographs was taken and the corpse was taken to the Mainland Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.

After gathered information, it was learnt that Precious complained of stomach ache after she returned from work. She started visiting the restroom and later asked Amosu, to get her food, which he did. After eating, she slept off, woke up at midnight and started vomiting. And was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead at about 8am. Her body was later brought back and could be seen by the police investigators on the floor.

DSP Bala Elkana, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the case and arrest of Amosu, as he has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department as investigation is ongoing.
