Taraba NLC Chairman, Peter Gambo Dies Of Diabetes.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Taraba State, Peter Gambo, is dead.

The late NLC Chairman is reported to have died after a brief illness at the Taraba State Specialist Hospital Jalingo, on Wednesday morning.

According to multiple media reports, the state commissioner of health Dr Innocent Vakkai who confirmed that Gambo died of diabetes and not COVID-19 as some persons have speculated.

However, he stated that Gambo had been on admission at the state’s Specialist hospital Jalingo, he was tested of COVID-19 and his result came back negative.

Until his demise, he was serving his second tenure in office as the Chairman of the NLC.

Gambo was also the General Overseer of the Jesus Glorious Army International Church, Taraba State – a position he took over after a car crash that claimed the life of the previous General Overseer.
