“The Fame I Have Today Took 15-years To Build”- Yul Edochie pens an open letter to actors

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has taken to his official social media handle (Twitter), to advise new and upcoming actors as he said, ‘success doesn’t come over night’.

Yul Edochie is the son of legendary actor, Pete Edochie, and is the last born from the family of six. He joined Nollywood in 2005 and go his break in 2007 after featuring alongside Genevieve and Desmond Elliot in the movie ‘Wind of Glory’.

According to Yul Edochie, upcoming actors should not be in a haste as success will surely come if they remain focused and they should also be ready for disappointments as it’s part of the process.

“Dear new ad upcoming actors, calm down, success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time to build. Even disappointments follow the process. The fame I have today took 15-years of hardwork to build. For some people, even more. Don’t beef, respect your seniors. Your time will come.” Yul wrote.

It can be said Yul, didn’t try to be associated with his father’s fame, as he is one of the hardworking actors of his time. Congratulations Yul, more wins.
