“There are still a lot of baby Hushpuppis & a lot of bigger Hushpuppis around”- Police PRO Mba

The Hushpuppi’s saga seems to be a trending topic that will remain in the lips of Nigerians till his case is taken to court, as police PRO Frank Mba, has advised Nigerians not to weep for the alleged internet fraudster as they are many younger and elder Hushpuppi’s around.

Mba also advised parents to query any suspicious show of wealth by their children while also warning traditional rulers to stop giving titles to young men and women with unexplainable source of income.

All formal Knowledge begins from the home, so parents have an important role to play when it comes to the affairs of their ward or children. Hushpuppi’s real name is Ramon Abbas and was arrested last month in Dubai, facing charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering, among other charges in the US. He is also facing a possible prison term of 20 years if the court rules against him.

“I’m not going to weep for Hushpuppi and I say no one should. There are still a lot of baby Hushpuppis around, a lot of bigger Hushpuppis around. We will need to walk together as a people. Hushpuppi will enjoy the privileges of being tried in a free world and in a liberal democracy.” Frank Mba said.
