There Will Be No Trophy Presentation In F.A Cup Final.(See Why)

The English F.A has announced that there will be no trophy presentation in the F.A cup final match between Arsenal and Chelsea.

The F.A announced that, this season’s FA Cup winners will not make the customary walk up the famous Wembley steps to receive the trophy.

Traditionally the trophy for the FA Cup is lifted high up from the Wembley turf in the Royal Box by the captain of the winning team.

But the FA has opted to minimise the risk of spreading coronavirus by asking teams to collect their medals and the trophy themselves from a table on the pitch.

Players, however, will be allowed to celebrate together after the game, much like Liverpool did when clinching the Premier League title.

Despite the change to normal protocol, both Arsenal and Chelsea will be intent on ending their season on a high.
