Yul Edochie Left His Father’s Name From His List of Actors Who Helped Shape His Nollywood Career

When talking about the Nollywood industry, and how it has given our country the much needed hype and accolades needed, one won’t be surprised if actors like, Pete Edochie isn’t mentioned. The veteran actor is seen as the founding fathers, but went missing in his own son’s list of prominent movie stars who help shaped his acting career.

Yul Edochie who is one of the sons of the legendary actor, Pete Edochie, is also a great actor, director and politician. Yul took to his official Twitter handle to make mention of those actors that helped shaped his career, as watching them, gave him more inspiration and ideas.

“These Stars helped shape my career. RMD, Ramsey, Emeka Ike, Jim Iyke, Chidi Mokeme, Muna Obiekwe, Emeka Enyiocha, Desmond Elliot, Mike Ezuruonye, Nonso Diobi.” Yul listed.

According to Yul, back then, if he doesn’t make money to buy their movies, he went for rentals. Renting of movies back then, was a lucrative business as much people were involved.
