Adele Faces Backlash For Plaiting An African Bantu Hairstyle. (See Photo)

Popular British Singer, Adele has been a victim of several backlash after she shared a photo to mark Notting Hill Carnival, which was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Singer was mocked on social media after she shared a picture of her on a Jamaican flag bikini and plaiting a traditional African Bantu knot hair style.

Adele shared the picture via her Instagram page on Sunday in a bid to celebrate Black and Carribean culture. “Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London 🇬🇧🇯🇲” She wrote.

However Adele came under fire after posting the photo, as many on social media accused her of cultural appropriation.
