Breaking: Nigeria Records 386 New Cases, As That of Lagos Reduces

Since the outbreak of this COVID-19 in Nigeria in February, the country have been recording new cases, also recorded several deaths, and also discharged cases.

The country have continued receiving updates from the Nigeria center for disease control about the situation of COVID 19 in Nigeria every day.

However, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) today have released the result for today and it have seen Nigeria record 386 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 which have now taken the total infected cases in the country to 43,537 as at Saturday .

Nigeria recorded a lower case yesterday but reduced drastically yet again to 386 today . The death rate has also risen to 883 as at today against the 879 yesterday.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in their report on Saturday night confirmed that FCT came out with the highest number of infected cases with 130, followed by Lagos State came out with 65 new cases while Ondo came third with 37.

The cases in the country are drastically reducing also with the cases in Lagos. Today, the Lagos State Governor gave an order that Worship Centres in the State can now resume from August 7.

This is coming after the state have been recording lower cases in the past few days as FCT have been topping since yesterday.

As at yesterday, here is the breakdown of the number of new cases of COVID-19 recorded today as stated by NCDC on their official Social media handles on Saturday night.
