EFCC arrests solider, and 26 others in Lagos for alleged involvement in cybercrime

Nobody is above the law, and whatever you do, be rest assured they are watching you, as the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), has arrested a Nigerian Solider and 26 others for alleged involvement in internet fraud in Lagos state.

Yes! A solider was arrested according to the official handle of the EFCC. Ajayi Kayode a serving military personnel and 26 others were arrested in the Lekki axis of Lagos State.

Kayode was arrested with his full military attire during the early hours of the day, following an intelligent report received by concerned members of the public in his involvement in the act.

“Kayode, with service number NAF18/34732, was arrested in his military attire during an early morning raid at 6B, Fatai Idown Arobike, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, on Saturday, August 15, 2020.” The Official handle of the EFCC tweeted.

Items recovered from the internet fraud stars, include, diamond jewelry, exotic cars and expensive phones. While the ladies arrested with them, confirmed their involvement and claimed the guys are their male friends.

According to reports from the EFCC, the suspects will be charged to court as soon as possible, as they are to answer for their crime.
