The Federal Government of Nigeria announced on Thursday, August 8th, 2020, that it has extended the ongoing coronavirus lockdown restrictions across the country by four weeks.
The extension was disclosed by Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, during the daily briefing of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 in Abuja.
This proposed extension will now be the third for the second phase of lockdown currently observed across Nigeria.
