Manchester City have completed the signing of Nathan Ake from Bournemouth as the defender signed a five-year deal which will keep him at City until the summer of 2025.
Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in England, and a switch is just what the 25-year-old needs to upgrade and take his career to the next under Pep. Ake who spoke to the media, said he is delighted to have joined the other part of Manchester as he feels the transfer gives him an opportunity to win trophies.
“City have been the best side in England over the course of the last decade. coming here is a dream for me. This is a top side full of world-class players. Pep is a manager admired across the world for what he has achieved, the style of football he plays and his general coaching methods.” Ake said.
Ake is really a good addition to City as he will bring steel to the back four for City. One of the major problems they faced in the 2019/2020 season was their back line, as it was not strong enough as they lost 9 matches and drew 3.
Congratulations to Ake and Manchester City.
