Bayern Munich and Germany goal keeper, Manuel Neuer, has made his intentions known on Thiago Alcantara’s planned move to Liverpool. The German international says he doesn’t want Thiago to make the move to Anfield.
Manuel Neuer has stated that Alcantara is a valuable player to Bayern Munich and that his exit is not something that should be considered at this point.
“He’s a very valuable player for us, especially in ball possession. He’s very important for us. He’s our engine in midfield actually, he had to undergo surgery at the end of the [Bundesliga] season [in June] but now he’s back and 100 per cent. I hope that it won’t be one of the last matches of Thiago,” Neuer stated ahead of Bayern’s Champions League fixture against Chelsea on Saturday.
Bayern Munich have admitted that a £36m fee would be acceptable to them, if the current English Premier League Champions are interested in signing the Midfielder.
