Victor Osimhen lashes out at popular Media House in Nigeria

Nigerian professional footballer, Victor James Osimhen, who plays forward for Napoli has taken a swift dig at The Punch as he accused them of reporting lies about him.

Victor who lost his father few months ago, said he hasn’t had or granted any interview since his father’s death and such information passed by the Punch were false. Few hours ago, the Punch reported that Victor said he wishes to emulate the likes of Maradona in Napoli, something he has denied saying.

Victor took to his official Twitter handle and said, “I never said such a thing, you all copy and paste journalist just like to fabricate lies, since the passing of my late father, I haven’t grant any interview whatsoever, stop this nonsense else na thunder go fire una.”

Victor who was born 29 December 1998, completed last season with Lille where he made 27 appearances and scoring 13 goals. He will be missed at Lille as he is just 21, and has a lot of time to show what he can offer.
