A show of love and generosity as Eagles Star, Simon, donates 3 boreholes to his community in Benue

Nigeria winger, Moses Simon, has shown a level of generosity and human sympathy for his people, as he drilled three water supply (boreholes) in his community.

Simon, who is from Agatu community in Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State was not pleased, as his community brothers and sisters, reliant on rainwater and water from the stream for their daily usage and consumption, something that can be termed not hygienic.

According to the Head of Obagaji Agatu Community, Chief James Ocheche, he thanked Simon for his show of love saying the footballer’s gesture was a sign that he loves his people and also feel their pain.

“He was sympathetic enough to sink three boreholes as an individual. You can see that he is a boy who wants the development of his community. May God lift him up.” Ocheche said.

Simon plays as a forward for Ligue 1 side, FC Nantes. Just only 25-year-old, Simon has made a total of 154 club appearances and scoring 35 goals for his senior club career and 5 national team goals.
