Breaking News: Nigerian Resident Doctors Call Of Strike.

The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) have finally called off their proposed indefinite strike.

On Monday, the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has embarked on a nationwide strike following the inability of the Federal Government to meet its yearnings in June this year. The demands by the doctors include a pay rise, better welfare, and adequate facilities.

However on Thursday evening NARD president, Aliyu Sokomba, confirmed that the strike had been suspended and that discussions with Federal Government on how to resolve the issues continues on Friday by 8 am.

The meeting between the two parties on Wednesday in Abuja ended in a deadlock with government threatening to revoke the residency programme.
