We all have to lend our voice for a better Nigeria”-Yul Edochie responds to Burna Boy

Nigerian musician, songwriter and self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy, took a swift dig at Omoyele Sowore, as he said he doesn’t trust anyone especially politicians.

Sowore is a Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner and former presidential candidate who was arrested in 2019 for alleged treason after calling for a protest tagged ‘Revolution Now’.

“Everybody is a Fela fan and supporter now that he is dead. Humans are so funny, you politicians are all the same (especially in Nigeria) and frankly, I don’t trust none of you @YeleSowore”- Burna Boy tweeted.

Nollywood superstar and director, Yul Edochie, took to his official twitter handle to respond to the tweet by Burna Boy, as he advised him not to trust anyone but he should always speak up as the country isn’t working and is the duty of every real man to lend his voice to the struggle.

“To my brother @Burnaboy, I’m a big fan of yours, you are one of the greatest. But that aside, I want to let you know that you don’t have to trust politicians before you speak up. Our country isn’t working and it’s the duty of every real man to lend his voice to the struggle.” Yul stated.

In my own opinion, we all should lend our voice no matter what, as the country needs everyone’s effort if we are to move forward.
