Hollywood actor, John Bamidele joins the #EndSars movement

British-Nigerian born actor, John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega, known professionally as John Boyega has backed the #EndSARS movement as he voiced his support for the movement through a tweet he shared on his official twitter handle.

Bamidele stated that the youths of Nigeria deserved good leadership and guidance as he urges the federal government to lend their voice as it’s now becoming a pressing issue and problem in the country.

“The youth in Nigeria deserve good leadership and guidance. This situation is tied to many other issues. Please lend your attention to this pressing problem.” Bamidele tweeted.

Bamidele went further to question the Nigerian police as their re-organization of SARS after public condemnation has done nothing to help the out-cry of the citizens of the country.

“Three years ago Nigeria’s police chief re-organized SARS after public condemnation about the violence that came with their operations. That change has done nothing for Nigerians and today many are still in danger”.

The #EndSars movement is now a trending news and issue in the country as many Nigerians have taken to the streets to air their frustration towards the SARS section of the police.
