Just In: Governor Wike Finally Joins #EndSARS Protest.(See What He Said)

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike has finally joined the ongoing EndSARS protest across the nation. The governor made a turning to his decision against the protest earlier today.

The governor, contrary to his initial ban on the protest, on Tuesday, October 13, called on the federal government to completely reform the police force.

The governor said he joined the protest because of his vow to protect the lives of residents and indigenes of Rivers, adding that calls by the state government have been made for the disbandment of SARS all to no avail until havoc spread to other regions of the country.

“Rivers State has suffered in the hands of SARS. When we raised the alarm of SARS activities, they did not give attention but it has now happened in other places.

“No governor in this country can say they have challenged SARS the way we have done. When there was so much kidnapping in this state, I raised an alarm to the federal government.

“I am the only governor that has come out to start end SARS protest. No other state. We have lost so many people in this state to SARS. No state supported us. SARS has killed our people a lot.” Governor Nyesom Wike said.
