The players of French Ligue one club, Marseille refused to take a knee in solidarity of the Back Lives Matter movement in their UEFA champions league clash against Manchester City on Tuesday.
The players instead observed a one minute silence for a teacher, Sam Paty, who was killed in a terror attack.
However Manchester City players all knelt to observe the solidarity to the Black Lives Matter movement, while the French club held one another around the center circle.
