African neighbors with over 59 million people, South Africa, have lent their voice towards the #EndSars movement, as former leader of the DA in South Africa and former leader of South Africa’s opposition Democratic Alliance, Mmusi Maimane, has taken to his official social media handle to show his support for the Nigerian youth and its #EndSar protest.

The #EndSars movement have gained more grounds since the youths of Nigeria took to the streets to air their frustration towards police brutality and killings across the country. Mmusi Maimane, who was elected to be the DA’s Johannesburg mayoral candidate in 2011, has been vocal about the #EndSars protest as he advised the President of Nigeria that other leaders are watching.
“Mr Buhari, please listen to the youth of Nigeria and #EndSars. The world is watching” Mmusi Maimane wrote.
