Nollywood actor, director and politician, Yul Edochie has finally lent his voice on the trending matter which has been discussed on almost all social media platforms, after a viral video of co-colleague in politics and also Nollywood, Desmond Elliot made during a House of Assembly sitting in Lagos State.
In a video which went viral, Desmond Elliot could be heard asking the House to limit the usage or a proper check of activities on social media in the country, as he believes its being abused by citizens.
According to Desmond Elliot, Nigeria will no longer exist in 5-years if there is no proper check on social media, citing the Lekki toll gate #EndSARS peaceful protest as a perfect example.
In the heat of the moment, Nollywood actor and politician, Yul Edochie has released a strong statement saying social media has never been the problem of Nigeria as poor health care, poverty, bad roads, poor education and a whole lot more should be the main issue of discussion rather than social media.
