Grammys Snubs: Canadian Singer, The Weekend, Calls Organizers Of Grammy Awards ‘Corrupt’

Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye also known professionally as The Weekend, has taken to his official social media handle to blasts the organizers of American entertainment music award, Grammy.

The Grammy Award, or just Grammy, is an award presented by the Recording Academy to recognize achievements in the music industry. The trophy depicts a gilded gramophone.

According to the Weekend, he alleged that the organizers are corrupt and they don’t just owe, but they owe his fans and the industry transparency.

“The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency.” The Weekend wrote.

The Weekend also went ahead to thank his fans for committing to him and they love they have showed him over the year.

“just wanted to thank the fans for committing to this journey with me. i love you guys so much, none of this is possible without ya’ll seriously”.
