Ole Solskjaer Sends Martial Home From United Training.(See Why)

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent Frenchman Anthony Martial home from Manchester United Training Ground.

Solskjaer sent the French forward home on Monday morning after only 11 minutes of training after it was determined he was not fit enough to train.

Martial missed the 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday afternoon but reported to training on Monday.

“Anthony fell ill overnight so he’s in the hotel by himself, poor lad. So that’s the reason he isn’t playing.”Solskjaer said ahead of the game.

According to reports, Martial had travelled with the squad to Southampton, but was taken ill overnight and remained in the team hotel, while his team-mates fought their way back from 2-0 down.

Martial is now a doubt for Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain at Old Trafford.
