Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems have been granted release by an Ugandan Magistrate court following their arrest on Sunday.
The both artistes were arrested by the Ugandan government for breaking it’s Covid-19 lockdown order.
They were charged with the offence of Neglect act likely to spread infectious disease, the release order stated.
According to the release order shared by The Chief Magistrate’s Court of Makindye At Makindye, of the Republic of Ugandan all charges against the accused have been withdrawn.
