Police Parade 3 Suspects Over The Attack Wike’s Father’s Church As The Drop Major Information

The Rivers State Police Command on Thursday, December 3, paraded three suspects in line with the attack of Christian Universal Church International, a church that is headed by the father of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

It was reported 6-days ago that hoodlums sneaked into the church premises and detonated an explosive which was suspected to be dynamite as significant part of the church was damaged due to the explosive, but no major casualty was recorded.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph G. Mukan has revealed that the suspects have confessed to the crime as they claim to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). He gave the names of the three suspects as, John Okorie (Abia State), Apuru Victor (Ebonyi State) and Progress Onwudinjo (Rivers State).

Investigations are still ongoing, as the Commissioner said the suspects acted on directives from a certain benefactor, whose name will be revealed in due time. He also warned those who have other evil plans to be informed that the law will surly catch up with them, as there is no room for such in the state.

This will come as a great news to the people of the State as the police force has shown and proven they are ready to stop any form of attack and protect lives and properties of citizens of the state.
