Bruno Fernandes Breaks EPL All-Time Record, Wins Fourth Player Of The Month Award.

Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has broken an English Premier League record, as he becomes the first player ever to clinch the Premier League Player of the Month award four times in the same calendar year.

This comes after he won the award for the month of December. In December, Fernandes made six appearances and netted three goals as United remained unbeaten, recording four wins.

His impressive performances have helped United go top of the table at this stage of the season for the first time since 2013.

Fernandes moved to Old Trafford from Sporting CP in January 2020 and won the award for the first time in February.

He then won the award for a third time in November before retaining it last month.

His four wins bring him level with compatriot and former United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as Dennis Bergkamp, Paul Scholes, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Frank Lampard and Jamie Vardy.
