“I better not speak on Buhari’s administration for my sanity” Woke Soyinka says

Nigerian playwright, poet, Nobel prize winner in Literature and essayist in English language, Akinwande Oluwole Babatunde Soyinka, also known as Wole Soyinka, has made his opinion on President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Prof. Wole Soyinka has never been shy to air his opinion when it comes to matters of the country, but refused to make any concrete statement when asked about the current situation of the country, as the Nobel Laureate, said he his protecting his sanity.

“I don’t want to talk about Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. I think it’s best for my sanity just to avoid that overall question.” Soyinka responded to a reporter.

Prof. Wole Soyinka went further to talk on the current predicament of the country as he said, one must forget the existence of the current administration for one’s sense of balance.

“I can take bits and pieces of Nigeria’s present predicament but I think for one’s sense of balance, one must forget the existence of the Buhari’s administration.” Wole Soyinka added.
