“I Stayed In Mo’Hits House For A Year”- DavidO Reveales

Nigerian musician, songwriter, and DMW record label Boss, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has taken to his social media page to inform his fans that he spent a year in the house of defunct Mo’Hits crew.

Davido revealed this information after a social media user claimed he doesn’t have a throwback period of him facing tough times before eventually becoming a super star, as he has always released hits since his first music record.

“Davido doesn’t have ‘when I never blow’ stage. Came in with a hit.” A fan tweeted.

Reacting to the comment, Davido said he also passed through his own stage, as he stayed in the house of defunct Mo’Hits crew for a year.

“I did. We all did. I was in Mo’Hits house for a year.” Davido commented.

The defunct Mo’Hits was a record label which was headed by Don Jazzy and his then friend and partner, D-Banj, was founded in 2004. The group had the likes of Don Jazzy, D-Banj, D’Prince, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid and K-Switch. The label has also attracted foreign interest from international acts like Jay-Z and Kanye West.

In 2012 D-Banj left the group and Don Jazzy went on to establish another record label known as Mavin.
