Investigation Begins As 16-Year-Old Girl Accuses Ogun State Commissioner Of Sexual Harassment

The Ogun State police force has commenced investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment of a 16-year-old girl by the state Commissioner for Environment, Honorable Abiodun Abudu-Balogun in his house on the 31st of December.

According to the 16-year-old, who gave her name as Mayowa, said the incidence happened on the 31st of December, as she was informed by a man named Lasis, who said he wanted to give her a job as a computer operator since she was good at operating computer and has knowledge of the computer. On getting to the house of her supposed employer, she found out it was the Commissioner for Environment who later tried to sexually harass her.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner has debunked all allegations labelled against him, as he said the girl was brought to him by one of his loyalist to assist her get a job as a computer operator at the ICT Centre he facilitated to empower youth in his local government.
