NIMC Extends NIN And SIM Linking Date, Checkout The New Date

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has advised Nigerians to enroll for their National Identification Number, NIN, as the date has been extended.

According to a shared tweet from the official handle of NIMC, citizens should link their phone numbers to their NIN on or before February 9th, 2021.

“All Nigerians and legal residents are advised to enroll for their National Identification Number (NIN) and link them before February 9th, 2021”- Official NIMC tweeted.

Here is how to check and link your NIN:

To check your NIN, dial *346#

For MTN Users:

Dial *785# and follow the instructions.

For GLO Users:

Send UpdateNIN (put space) NIN (put space) First name (put space) and Last Name to 109

For Airtel Users:

Dial 1211# and follow the instructions
