Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie Shares Words Of Wisdom To Aspiring Musicians

Nollywood actor, director and politician, Yul Edochie, has taken to his official social media handle to advice upcoming musicians on the way to follow when trying to promote their music.

Yul who is of the opinion that the power to lift ones career lies in his or her hands, encouraged aspiring musicians not to wait for people or record label before they showcase their talents, as they could visit bars and hotels to perform for free, as it’s a way of promoting themselves and kick off their music career.

One of the trend for upcoming musicians nowadays, is by posting their music on various social media platform to attract “A” list musicians or record labels. This format has been successful for some while others are yet to make their own break.

“If you’re an aspiring musician don’t just sit and beg money to record your songs, go to bars and hotels and plead with them to perform for free. If you’re good, customers will surely love you and spray money on you. And the career takes off from there. The power to lift you lies in you.” Yul Edochie wrote.
