“School Resumption Depends On Your School”- ASUU Reveals

The long awaited 9-months Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, strike has been called off, as students of various higher institutions are preparing for another school year and getting ready to return back to school.

The official social media handle of ASUU has informed the general public, most especially students at the higher level that school resumption date depends on the management of their institution and not ASUU as a body.

“School resumption date depends on your school” the official handle of ASUU tweeted.

In another news, the Lagos State Government announced January 18, 2021, as the approved date for resumption of private and public schools in the state. According to the state Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, asked schools to adhere to strict government protocols on the pandemic and asked schools to make virtual learning available for students who are willing to attend but are sick or down in one way or the other.
