As the 2021/2022 European football league season is set to commence, several clubs have taken the opportunity to brush up their team play in pre-season friendlies.

However a friendly match between Aston Villa and Bristol City over the weekend turned hilarious as popular referee Kevin Friend booked an entire stadium for booing at him.

Kevin friend was hilariously captured reacting to the crowd’s chants of “you’re just a sh** like Mike Dean!” (Mike Dean is famous for his strict decisions and rulings in a football game.)

Reaching for his pocket, Kevin friend pulled out a yellow card which he then showed jokingly to the jovial and rather vocal fans in attendance.
