Inter Milan Says Eriksen Is In A Very Healthy State, As He Returns To Club Trainings.

Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen has returned to Inter Milan for the first time since his cardiac arrest at the Euros 2020 competition.

The Serie A club has admitted that the midfielder is in a very “excellent physical and mental shape” as he commenced club training.

However the club said they will follow the recovery programme “put forward by Danish doctors in Copenhagen, who will also coordinates the clinical follow up”.

Eriksen collapsed on the pitch in Denmark’s game against Finland, after suffering a cardiac arrest. He spent six days in hospital, where he was fitted with a defibrillator.

It remains unsure if Eriksen will be able to resume is back on the pitch, or he’s still likely to face at least six months on the sidelines.
