FG Bans Students In SSS1&2 From Participating In WAEC & NECO Exams.

The federal ministry of education has ordered that any student in senior secondary school one and two should be exempted from participating in the external West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the National Examination Council (NECO) and the National Business and Technical Examination (NABTEB).

In a memo reportedly addressed to all Principals of Federal Schools across the nation the ministry threatened to expel any SSS 1 or 2 student who took the examinations.

According to the Federal Government, this move will be deployed to help improve the standard of education in the country.

Hajia Binta Abdulkadir further explained that the new order will not only hold in Federal Government owned schools, but it will also implemented in other schools across the country.
