Marriage Registrar Refuses To Wed Groom Because Of His Dreadlocks In Lagos – Ubi Franklin Reveals.(Video)

A marriage registrar at Ikoyi registry, Lagos State was reported to have refused to wed a groom because he had dreadlocks on.

Popular music executive, Ubi Franklin who was there to support the groom revealed that he had to go out to buy a traditional cap for the groom to wear over his dreadlocks before the wedding ceremony commenced.

Sharing a video about the incident on his Instagram page, Ubi Franklin wrote, “Naija Na cruise my friend asked that I stand for him as a witness in the Ikoyi registry, when he got into the hall, this registrar said he won’t wed him because of his hair, we drove out and got him a hat”
