Minister of Communications, Isa Pantami Becomes Professor of Cyber security at FUTO.

Dr. Isa Ali Pantami, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy has been made a professor of Cyber security at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo state.

At its 186th meeting the Governing Council of FUTO appointed Dr. Pantami and some other associate professors to assume the new position.

According to reports, Pantami, recently bagged the Security and Emergency Management Award (SAEMA) on Cybersecurity.

He also had lectured on ICT at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi.

In 2014, he joined the Islamic University of Madinah as Head of Technical Writing.

Later on he was appointed Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in 2016.
