Mo’ Salah Equals Steven Gerrard’s Goalscoring Record In 3-2 UCL Win Over AC Milan.(See Details)

Liverpool had a wonderful start to the 2021/2022 UEFA Champions League campaign after a thrilling 3-2 victory over Serie A giants, AC Milan.

Liverpool took the lead early in the first half at Anfield, before two goals by AC Milan stunned Anfield into silence.

However, the Reds levelled up with an equaliser from Egyptian forward, Mohammed Salah, who missed a penalty in the first half.

Mo’ Salah’s equaliser saw him equal Steve Gerrard’s goal-scoring record in the UEFA champions league for the Reds.

Mohammed Salah is now Liverpool’s joint highest goal scorer in European Cup/UEFA Champions League games at Anfield, with his 14th taking him level with Steven Gerrard.

Liverpool however ended the match victors after a stunning strike by captain Jordan Henderson saw the back of the net.
