Recent reports claim that former Leicester City coach, Claudio Ranieri is set to take over at Watford, following the resignation of Xisco Munoz.
The Italian, who guided Leicester to the Premier League title in 2016, left his role as Sampdoria’s manager at the end of last season.
According to Sky Sports, Ranieri is expected to sign a contract to take over at the Vicarage road on Monday.
Ranieri who will turn 70 later this month has also managed Chelsea and Fulham after his spell at Leicester.
His first game in charge is likely to be in the Premier League home game to Liverpool after the International break on October 16.
