Mayorkun Signs New Deal With Columbia Records, As He Drops 2nd Studio Album.

Popular Nigerian singer, Mayorkun has signed a new deal with Columbia Records, United Kingdom (U.K) even as he releases his much anticipated second studio album, Back in Office which has gotten great reviews.

Mayorkun dropped his much anticipated second album, Back In Office today and Columbia Records UK used that time to announce that the singer had signed a new deal with them.

The record label which claims to be the mother of all record labels made the announcement via their Instagram page on Friday, the 29th of October 2021.

“@iammayorkun is now part of the @columbiauk family + his new album ‘back in office’ is available now! 🖤”, the label wrote.

Mayorkun has not released any project since his debut album in 2018 under Davido Music Worldwide label, and now there are claims that the singer must have exited the record label since the label (DMW) does not have an exclusive license to the distribution of the new album.
