National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu is reported to have visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa on Sunday, October 31st, 2021.
Reports claim the All Progressives Congress chieftain’s visit to the Aso Rock led to a meeting with President Buhari which was held behind closed doors.
After the meeting, Tinubu said he visited the president to thank him for checking on him after having a knee surgery, during Buhari’s visit to London in August.
“I came to thank President Muhammadu Buhari for visiting me in London when I had knee surgery. He demonstrated empathy. He is an exceptional leader.” Tinubu stated.
However, President Buhari after meeting Tinubu at the State House; “It was my pleasure to host Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu today at the State House.” Although the president didn’t disclose what was discussed at the time of filing this report.
The meeting comes just two days after Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo also met in Abuja.
