Watch Video As Suspected Thief Gets Electrocuted By A Transformer In Festac, Lagos.

In a trending video across social media, a man suspected to be a thief was seen electrocuted by a faulty transformer in Festac, Lagos State.

According to reports the incident happened on the country’s Independence Day morning, which was on Friday, October 1st.

Reports claim that the deceased was known for stealing by residents of the community at 721 Road, G Close in Festac Town.

One of the residents also disclosed that the deceased was “one of those truck pushers that steals gutter iron covers in the community.” Disclosing the information on her social media page she wrote;

“He’s one of those Bola guys (truck pushers). The ones day steals our gutter iron cover … He got to the transformer very early he had stolen some cables already cause the NEPA official that came searches him and found cable on him. Meanwhile, NEPA brought light while he was stealing… The saying many days for the thief one day for the owner… The NEPA official had to even say they are the one’s that spoilt the transformer doors and covers because of what they wanted to do. I’m sorry but he was caught in the act.“
