General Overseer Kills Wife, Commits Suicide In Delta State.

A pastor identified as Chikordi has allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife, Prophetess Chikordi.

The pastor was the General Overseer of the Ancient of Days Healing Church located at Umunede in Ika North East LGA of Delta State.

It is reported that pastor Chikordi took his life by jumping into a well following the alleged murder of his wife.

Although details on the incident are still sketchy, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Edafe Bright confirmed the incident but said he is not aware that the man was a pastor. However, he disclosed that investigations into the matter is ongoing.

The incident is reported to have occurred around 4:00am on Sunday, December 5, before the alleged assailant travelled to his hometown Ekwuoma, a neighbouring community to Umunede, where he jumped into the well.
