Transfer: Newcastle United Set To Bring Back Odion Ighalo To The EPL.

English Premier League football club, Newcastle are reportedly set to bring back former Manchester United and Super Eagles forward, Odion Ighalo back to the Premier League.

Currently plying his trade for Saudi Arabian outfit Al Shabab Riyadh after a stint in the Chinese Super League with Shanghai Shenhua, the Nigerian international is said to be keen on a return to the Premier League.

Newcastle head into January without any clear direction when it comes to transfer business in a bid to add quality to the squad at St. James’ Park but could be set to make a move for former Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo in a bid to arrest their struggles in the January transfer window.

The Nigerian striker scored 40 goals for Watford during his time at the club from 2014 to 2017. He also scored five goals in 23 games during his one-year loan spell at Manchester United.

Ighalo is the currently the joint leading goal scorer in the Saudi Professional League with nine goals, his contract ends in the summer of 2023.
